The Council of Governors brings together senior leaders from across business, policy, advisory, academic, and industry communities. Members of the Council are active AmCham members who provide advice to the Board on the issues and opportunities most relevant to the alliance business environment.
The Council exists to lift the quality of conversation, sharpen the strategic perspective behind AmCham's positions, and ensure that the organisation continues to reflect the calibre of its membership. Governors are senior executives, founders, university leaders, former officials, and experienced directors—each contributing context, networks, and influence that strengthen the AmCham platform.
The Council does not replace governance. It complements it. Its strength lies in the seniority and diversity of its members, and in the breadth of perspective they bring to the questions that matter most to the Australia–US relationship.
