2017 Innovation Mission to the USA

29 October - 3 November 2017

Boston and Silicon Valley, USA

AmCham’s annual Innovation Mission returns to the USA in 2017 with visits to a range of world class American innovators. Along the way, delegates will be exposed to how innovative thinking drives success among the major players in and around Boston and Silicon Valley. Plus, you will return to Australia with exciting networks, ideas and practical solutions to implement in your own organisation!

Don’t miss this great opportunity to explore some of the top companies and innovative minds of the world. While visiting these major players you will have the chance to witness how they have achieved their high levels of success and how to incorporate some of their practices into your own work to further develop your company.

In 2017, the delegation will explore two of the world’s innovation hubs in Boston and Silicon Valley. With site visits already confirmed at GE’s brand new headquarters in Boston and state-of-the-art facilities in San Ramone, as well as Microsoft, Cisco, LinkedIn, Twitter, Visa, DataRobot, Intuit, Singularity University and more, this is a Mission you won’t want to miss!

Who should attend this mission?

We have designed the program to attract the forward thinking executives in your company, those who are tasked with developing new opportunities, setting strategic direction and developing new business streams. This mission will expose them to a new way of thinking.

At each stop, our focus will be on what makes each company so successful and so innovative. You will return to Australia with practical insights that you can apply in your own work place. You will hear and discuss first-hand how the most innovative American companies manage operations, create opportunity, and consistently outperform their peers. Meeting formats will include discussions, case studies, keynote addresses, panel sessions, roundtables, dinners, and Q&A forums.

WHAT OUR PREVIOUS DELEGATES HAD TO SAY

"This mission was one of the best business development and learning trips of my life."

"Personally I felt very privileged to spend time with such companies and professionally this really allowed us to reflect on how we can drive global business improvements, culture and innovation."

"Packed week, great companies, great senior access at many. Best way to finish something is wanting more, and I think that's how we all felt leaving Tesla on Friday afternoon."
