The Hon Angus Taylor MP’s Background:

The Hon Angus Taylor MP is the Assistant Minister for Cities and Digital Transformation in the Turnbull Government. He was first appointed to this role in February 2016. His portfolio spans critical issues facing Australia’s urban cities and regional centres including housing affordability, congestion and job creation. 

Taylor is the Member for Hume, having first been elected to Australian Parliament at the 2013 Federal election. He was subsequently re-elected in 2016. Prior to entering Parliament, he worked as a Director at Port Jackson Partners where he was a strategy and business advisor on the resources, agriculture, energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to this, he was a partner at McKinsey & Co.
