ENERGY AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN 2035: WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE?

A Look into the Future with Azad Hessamodini, President-Strategy and Development, Wood

About the Event

We are living in a rapidly changing world and now more than ever we need a vision for the future which is ambitious about our potential, realistic about the pace of change, and navigates new challenges and shifting objectives.

Scenario planning is an important tool used at Wood to explore and understand the possibilities of the global energy transition and rising demand for sustainable infrastructure over the next 15 years. The insights and considerations into the geopolitical, social and economic drivers that will affect the rate of innovation and adoption of renewable and low carbon energy alternative are imperative to successfully identifying opportunities while considering the risks.

Join AmCham  as Azad Hessamodini, President-Strategy and Growth will share with you Wood's outlook on these industrial markets and what the world could look like in 2035.

To what extent could energy source provision, distribution and demand change… Can the worst effects of climate change be avoided? What are the pressures on aging infrastructure in an increasingly urbanised world?  Is a complete transformation of the global energy system not only possible but achievable? Or will a politically and economically fragmented society stagnate the energy transition?
