Megan Antcliff, Deputy Chief Executive, Department for Trade, Tourism and Investment will showcase how businesses can connect with overseas markets, create strong international relationships and capitalise on export opportunities.

Megan is the Deputy Chief Executive for the Department for Trade, Tourism and Investment (DTTI). Ms Antcliff is a business professional with a high level of experience in investment facilitation, governance and industry decision making. 

As part of her current role, Ms Antcliff is a high-level stakeholder involved in implementing the strategic vision of the South Australian Government’s trade and investment agenda through a range of governance initiatives and industry engagement programs.

Mark Young, CEO, Adelaide Airport will discuss Adelaide Airport’s expansion plans, to improve business travel / freight and open new routes for business networks.

Mark was appointed as Managing Director of Adelaide Airport Limited on 1 November 2011.

Prior to joining Adelaide Airport, in July 2001, Mark was Finance Director for Macmahon Holdings Limited enjoying a 20 year career that included experience in all aspects of that contract mining, civil engineering and building construction group.  

Mark has played a key role in Adelaide Airport’s expansion and rapid passenger growth over the past decade initially as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently as Managing Director.  Mark is a non-executive director of the South Australian Tourism Commission.

And Michael Kleine US Consul General. The US continues to be Australia, largest economic partner and South Australia’s highest source of FDI by capital expenditure, projects and jobs created. With Trade tensions high between the US and China and a slowing global economy, how can South Australia capitalise on its high growth and high-value sectors?

Michael is a Senior Foreign Service Officer with nearly twenty years of experience in the U.S. Department of State.

Prior to his August 2018 arrival in Melbourne, Michael served three years as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Vientiane, Laos. He worked previously in South Korea, where he led Embassy efforts to ratify the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement; Kosovo, where he supported the establishment of democratic institutions in post-war Kosovo; and Vietnam, where he was among the first to work in the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. From 2013 to 2014, he served as the U.S. Trade Representative’s Senior Advisor for Japan and Korea Trade Policy.
