Does SA have the infrastructure – ports, roads, broadband access, and more….. to help business thrive? Our leaders are promising new growth and jobs through industries such as space and defence, and skilled migration to deliver on projects. Are the supports in place to deliver long-term economic goals - without compromising quality of life?

Claire Boan, Mayor, City of Port Adelaide Enfield

Claire was raised in the country, in the Lower Lakes area, where her parents taught her strong family values, hard work, honesty and the ability to listen.

She has been a local councillor for the past eight years and her council journey began, when as a local primary school teacher, she developed her passion for being actively involved in the community.

Claire is married to Jonathon and they have three children, who are also active participants in their local community through school, sport and recreation. Her ability to actively improve the environments for our next generation as well as including them in this process, was the catalyst to run for Mayor.

Her hope is for the City of PAE community to continue to grow in inclusivity by providing safe and healthy environments for all people, while preserving natural and heritage beauty of the area.
