Associate Professor Mark Little, Emergency Physician & Clinical Toxicologist
Mark is an Emergency Physician & Clinical Toxicologist employed as a senior staff specialist in Cairns Hospital. He also has an academic appointment with the College of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, medical and veterinary Sciences , James Cook University, and is a consultant to the National Poisons Informatuon Service. He has co edited 2 Australian textbooks in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Toxicology; and published over 60 peer reviewed articles in the medical literature.
Mark is one of the clinical leaders for Australian Medical Assistance Teams (AusMAT) . These are teams of trained Australian health professionals who respond to disasters both in Australia and overseas. Mark is involved in training staff, and has lead teams deploying overseas to disasters in Christchurch, Pakistan and the Phillipines. Part of his year is spent in New York training international humanitarian staff.
Natalie Smith, Head of Corporate Banking Health, ANZ
Natalie heads up the Corporate Banking Health segment nationally for ANZ. She leads a team of 60 specialist bankers who service client’s full banking and finance needs within the health sector. ANZ Health provides approximately $5 bn in funding to the industry in all areas of health including practitioners, pharmacies, allied health, acute sector, aged care and retirement villages. ANZ Health is a leading bank in its funding of the aged care and retirement village sectors. Natalie was a key member of the Health team within ANZ Institutional Bank which embraced large end hospital, diagnostic imaging and pharma businesses where similarly ANZ has been the lead bank to the majority of debt funded acquisitions and consolidations during that time. Natalie has over 20 years relationship and investment banking experience in Australia and the USA, with her career at ANZ spanning 12 years and 9 years working within the health business.
Dr Edwin Trevor-Roberts, CEO, Trevor-Roberts
Edwin Trevor-Roberts is the CEO of Trevor-Roberts, an national organisation that provides a range of specialised career, leadership and team-oriented services geared towards CEOs, managers and their teams from ASX100 companies through to SMEs.
Edwin holds a PhD from The University of Queensland Business School, with his research exploring Career Uncertainty. He has a keen interest in and regularly presents on topics such career strategy, the changing nature of work, the neuroscience of leadership, and team effectiveness. Edwin is a sought after facilitator of workshops for executive teams and leadership forums and coaches a select group of leaders. He is a regular writer on career issues and has co-authored several articles and book chapters on culture and leadership in Australia.
Edwin also holds a role on the Chair Advisory Board for Griffith University’s Centre for Work, Organisation and Wellbeing.
Scott Hartley, CEO, Sunsuper
The Board appointed Scott as Sunsuper’s Chief Executive Officer in January 2014. He has had an extensive career in the superannuation industry with more than 15 years’ experience in executive management roles, most recently holding the position of Executive General Manager, Corporate and Institutional Wealth at NAB. During that time, Scott also held directorships with Plum Financial Services and Jana Investment Advisers. Prior to that, he held several other executive leadership roles within the NAB /MLC Group, comprising strategy and marketing, institutional investments and financial planning. Scott’s extensive industry experience and wealth of business knowledge makes him eminently suitable for the role of CEO and will ensure Sunsuper is well-positioned to realise its strategic ambitions and continue to grow its member and corporate client base nationally.
