Meet The Minister Series
Minister for Finance, Senator the Hon. Mathias Cormann
AmCham Business Luncheon
About the Event
Extreme bushfires, prolonged drought and now the sudden and widespread effects of COVID-19 upon global travel and supply chains are all stressing an already slowing Australian economy.
With the uncertainty of the fallout from a growing pandemic, the ASX faltering and the Aussie dollar at an 11-year low, Australian businesses are facing some significant challenges.
Come and meet with one of the most important ministers in the federal government and hear his outlook in a free and open discussion just weeks before the Government’s May 12 Budget.
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) represents business; providing networking opportunities, valuable support for emerging industries, and helping to establish business networks and commercial partnerships. Through AmCham’s advocacy work, the chamber works to improve the efficiency and strength of the business sector to build a strong and prosperous economy.
