The Royal Botanic Garden: has installed smart cell technology making it one of Australia’s most extensive and digital-connected spaces. This new experience allows visitors to personally connect with the Garden, its history, stories and the people who work there. We will learn more on Australia’s 5G future, Using AI to shape Sydney’s tourism industry and Cybersecurity for key infrastructure assets.

3M: Makoto Itoh, Managing Director – ANZ of 3M Australia will brief us on 3M’s innovation story, and from there, the group will go on a journey through the Innovation Centre to see the many technological innovations that 3M has pioneered. 

Honeywell: Rick Durnford, General Manager of Connected Services for the Pacific Region, Honeywell will usher guests on a tour of the Honeywell Software Centre. The HSC is a global software development centre & design studio for Honeywell. The focus is on large Integrated Systems & human machine interface systems for industrial and building automation using leading edge technologies.

KPMG: Our day will conclude at KPMG’s Innovation Lab in Barangaroo, one of a handful of Labs across the world. There we will hear from Paul Francis, KPMG’s Smart Cities Lead and a Director in their Internet of Things (IoT) practice, who will explain how these Innovation Labs help their clients think creatively about trends in smart cities that are transforming the way we live and work.
