Modern Manufacturing: What is South Australia's Competitive Advantage?

About the Event

Manufacturing is critical to a modern Australian economy. The Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) mission is “to drive innovation, productivity and competitiveness across Australia’s manufacturing industry”. To kick off 2021, AmCham together with AMGC is bringing a panel of business leaders to discuss how transforming Australian manufacturing will rebuild our economy.

Manufacturing is key to almost every supply chain and adds value across all sectors. Manufacturing is a capability that extends beyond production, by strategically investing and harnessing our world-class science and technology, Australia can open new markets and take more of our quality products to the world. Enabling digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, block chain and cyber security will also play a pivotal role in unlocking our potential and enable our local manufacturers to create entirely new products, processes, and business models.

AmCham will bring together a panel of experts to discuss:
> How manufacturers translate good ideas into commercial outcomes.
> How to build economies of scale.
> Support for business-to-business and business-to-research collaboration.
> Help manufacturers integrate into local and international supply chains and markets.
> Encourage investment in non-R&D innovation.

Register for this luncheon to hear how manufacturing can help us to re-imagine our future.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: The safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is our utmost priority. AmCham will work with the venue to ensure hygiene procedures and government guidelines are followed with social distancing measures in place, visible sanitiser stations and Covid-19 marshals. We respectfully ask you do not attend on the day if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms.
