Mark Young, Managing Director | Adelaide Airport Limited
Mark was appointed as Managing Director of Adelaide Airport Limited on 1 November 2011. Prior to joining Adelaide Airport, in July 2001, Mark was Finance Director for Macmahon Holdings Limited enjoying a 20 year career that included experience in all aspects of that contract mining, civil engineering and building construction group. Mark has played a key role in Adelaide Airport’s expansion and rapid passenger growth over the past decade initially as Chief Financial Officer and subsequently as Managing Director. Mark is a non-executive director of the South Australian Tourism Commission. Mark will talk about the Terminal Expansion Project and what that means for the SA economy.



The Hon John Olsen AO
John is Deputy Chairman of the Adelaide Oval Stadium Authority, Chairman of the South Australian National Football League, Chairman of the American Australian Association Ltd, Chairman of the Perth US Asia Centre at The University of Western Australia and board member of the United States Studies Centre at The University of Sydney. He spent almost 7 years in the United States, as Consul General in New York (2006-2009), and as Consul General in Los Angeles (2002-2006). Prior to his diplomatic postings, he was Premier of South Australia (1996-2001), and pioneered G’day USA in 2004, a week-long programme showcasing the best of Australia. The programme expanded to New York in 2007 and has become the largest single annual foreign country promotion in the United States.


Jeremy Glaros, Head of Executive Education | The University of Adelaide
Jeremy has an extensive background in business both in Australia and internationally, having worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Sydney, as the CEO and co-founder of two fintech start-ups, and as a Division Director and the Head of Structuring for Asia with Macquarie in Hong Kong. Jeremy has expertise in business development, strategy and business transformation built across a variety of industries including banking, insurance, B2B services, agriculture and telecommunications. When not at work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with the family, watching documentaries and donating money to friends at the poker table. Jeremy has a Masters of Finance from INSEAD and an Honours Degree in Engineering from The University of Adelaide.
