Ticky Fullerton is Business Editor of Sky News in Australia. She presents Business Weekend, the channel's new flagship weekly business program and writes for The Australian. Ticky is an award-winning journalist and a household name in Australian business circles, with over twenty years at News Corp and the ABC. Prior to journalism, Ticky spent ten years with CS First Boston in Britain and Australia. She’s a director of the Australia British Chamber of Commerce and a former director of the CRC for Irrigation Futures. Ticky has a law degree from Oxford.
Abigail Bradshaw, Head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre, ACSC
Abigail worked in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, most recently as the Deputy Coordinator of the National Bushfire Recovery Agency and prior to that as the head of the National Security Division. She has held senior roles in the Department of Home Affairs offshore covering Europe and sub-Saharan Africa and as the department’s inaugural Chief Risk Officer. She was the Deputy Commander of Maritime Border Command during the height of the people-smuggling trade.
Abigail began her career in the Royal Australian Navy and was awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross in 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Asian Studies.
Ganna Pogrebna, Professor of Business Analytics and Data Science, USYD
Ganna Pogrebna is a pioneer in behavioural data science working on human-centered cyber defence and predictive analytics of cybercrime. She combines decision theory and AI techniques to measure cyber risk and predict adversarial cyberattacks. Ganna is the Academic Director of the Cyber Security and Data Science Institute at Charles Sturt University, Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney, and Lead for Behavioural Data Science at the Alan Turing Institute. She led important projects and published extensively on behaviour, risk, and security. Her digital security risk-tolerance scale (CyberDoSpeRT) is widely used in Australia and abroad. Ganna received the Leverhulme Fellowship award and the TechWomen100 prize. She runs Data Driven YouTube channel, CyberBitsEtc cyber security blog, and Inclusion AI blog. Ganna is one of the 20+ Inspiring Data Scientists according to the AI Time Journal.
Gergana Winzer, Partner, Enterprise Advisory - Cyber, KPMG
An IT and cybersecurity professional, Gergana works with clients to develop creative and pragmatic approaches to reduce their cyber and data security risks. She assists organisations to improve their cyber security posture and supports them to achieve cyber resilience outcomes. Gergana believes that cyber is a business enabler; an intrinsic part of developing the business that can help organisations become more competitive in today’s world.
Gergana is an experienced and respected member of the cybersecurity community in Australia and Asia and an engaging keynote and public speaker on cyber security and privacy matters, risks and issues to the business community. In her spare time she mentors young professionals and is an advocate for diversity.
Prior to KPMG, Gergana worked for a global IT solutions company as Industry Director Cyber Security for the Asia Pacific region. She is a member of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA) national board and was a member of the ISACA Sydney board.
Michael Miller, Executive Chairman, News Corp
Michael Miller was appointed Executive Chairman Australasia of News Corp Australia in November 2015.He has over 3 decades of experience working in senior executive roles in the media industry, most recently as the CEO of the publicly listed APN News and Media (now HT&E). Michael is a former CMO of News Limited, and the Herald and Weekly Times, and has led media businesses in New South Wales, South Australia, New Zealand and Asia in the radio, digital, out-of-home and publishing categories.
He is currently the Chairman of the Premium Content Alliance, the industry body representing Australia’s leading broadcasting, publishing and digital companies and he is a Director of REA Group and Foxtel.
Michael is a former Director of Fox Sports Australia, SKY Television Network (NZ), the Committee for Sydney and Warratahs Rugby.
Rob Dooley, Senior Director, VMWare
Rob is the Senior Director across Asia-Pacific and Japan for VMware’s Security Business Unit. In this role, Rob leads the APJ VMware security team on their journey to transform the cyber security industry towards an ‘intrinsic” built- in approach.
Rob has more than 25 years’ IT industry experience, having held leadership roles in leading global consultancies, outsourcers and systems integrators. He has successfully led teams to deliver cyber security transformation projects for large enterprises and government organizations across APAC.
Rob has a Bachelor of Economics and post graduate certificates in Management and Cyber Risk Management. Rob is member of the Australian Security Information Association (AISA) and active industry participant, regularly championing change with government and regulatory bodies.
Ross Phillipson, Senior Advisor, Norton Rose Fulbright Australia
Ross Phillipson is a senior adviser in Norton Rose Fulbright’s risk advisory practice. He provides integrated digital and technology operations risk advice and is experienced in the critical infrastructure reforms and operational resilience.
Ross has a unique and highly specialised skillset in legal and compliance risk management in digital and technology operations. He advises clients across all sectors on matters relating to privacy governance, compliance, operations and breaches, cybersecurity governance and incident management, critical infrastructure security reforms, compliance obligations and foreign investment, crypto-currency regulation and reporting, artificial intelligence governance and related corporate and compliance matters. He is involved in ESG matters, including the ethical and social impacts of digital technology and governance expectations of businesses using emerging technologies. He has also been involved in tech regulation and policy in Europe for nearly a decade and has worked in partnership with industry associations and government relations groups to ensure new legislation in the tech arena is fit for purpose.
Victor Dominello, Minister for Customer Service and Digital Goverment, NSW Government & Member for Ryde
Victor Dominello is a senior Minister in the New South Wales Government and has held various portfolios over the last decade including Aboriginal Affairs, Innovation and Finance.
In 2019 he was appointed the inaugural Minister for Customer Service and in 2021 was also appointed the inaugural Minister for Digital Government.
Victor firmly believes the use of real-time data and technology are the most powerful ways to improve quality of life and reduce suffering.
Victor was a member of the original Crisis Cabinet which led the NSW response to Covid-19 and now sits on the Covid-19 and Economic Recovery Committee.
His particular focus has been on delivering digital solutions such as the Service NSW QR code check-in feature and the real-time data analysis which has informed the state’s decision making.
Victor has been the driving force behind the roll out of the Digital Driver Licence, the establishment of the $2.1b Digital Restart Fund and the rapid expansion of the Service NSW app to include QR code check-ins, the voucher programs, such as Dine and Discover, Covid-19 test alert notifications and the registration of positive rapid antigen tests.
