Flavia Tata Nardini, Chief Executive Officer, Fleet Space Technologies 

Flavia Tata Nardini began her career at the European Space Agency as a Propulsion Test Engineer. She then joined TNO, the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research to work on advanced space propulsion projects. In 2015 Flavia co-founded Fleet, a connectivity company set to maximise the resource efficiency of human civilisation through low cost, low power remote massive IoT. Fleet will launch the first of over 100 planned nanosatellites in 2018, enabling the next industrial revolution with a free, ubiquitous connectivity platform.

Nicola Sasanelli, Director of the South Australian Space Industry Centre 

Nicola Sasanelli was born in Italy and graduated in Electronical Engineering from the University of Bari. From 2001 to 2008, Nicola was the Scientific Attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Canberra. In 2003 he was appointed Adjunct Professor of Science and Technology at the University of Canberra. In 2007 he became an Honorary Member of the Order of Australia. Since 2009 Nicola has held a number of key positions within the South Australian government, including Special Envoy for Higher Education Research & Technology Transfer (Europe), Director, Greater Europe and R&D Collaborations at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Director and International R&D Collaborations at the Department of State Development. Currently he is the Director of the South Australian Space Industry Centre.

Pamela Ann Melroy (Colonel, USAF, RET), NASA Astronaut (FORMER), Director of Space Strategy, Nova Systems

Pamela Ann Melroy (Colonel, USAF, RET.) NASA Astronaut (FORMER) is a retired Air Force test pilot and former NASA astronaut and Space Shuttle commander. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Astronomy from Wellesley College and a Master of Science degree in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Colonel Melroy has more than 200 combat and combat support hours and has logged more than 6,000 hours flight time in more than 50 different aircraft.  Selected as an astronaut candidate by NASA in 1994, Colonel Melroy flew three assembly missions to build the International Space Station, one of only two women to command the Space Shuttle. She has logged more than 924 hours (more than 38 days) in space.  Colonel Melroy retired from the Air Force in 2007, and left NASA 2009.  After NASA, she served as Deputy Program manager for the Lockheed Martin Orion Space Exploration Initiatives program and worked for the Federal Aviation Administration. Colonel Melroy is now Senior Advisor for Space Strategy at Nova Systems.
