AmCham has teamed with the University of Adelaide Business School to create the UABS ChangeMakers Series to highlight the drivers of change in how we think, act, and execute business. It will spotlight innovators, influencers and disrupters who challenge the way we think, act, and conduct business in SA and beyond. What can we learn from their example and what are the impacts they have on our economy - and how can your business benefit? Conventional models are changing – and fast, as are communications methods. You have to keep up - or perish. The event format will be interactive and informal.

Our panel:

Chester Osborn, Chief Winemaker & Viticulturalist, d’Arenberg Wines
Amanda Pepe, Publishing Director, Opinion Media
Marni Ladd, Program Director Wine Business, The University of Adelaide

Our panel will discuss the changing definition of luxury and how this impacts premium branding – this applies to just about every industry sector. Also the spending habits of the increasingly wealthy population, and the changing methods and platforms of media, communication and promotion.

Chester Osborn from D’Arenberg Wines will talk about the d’Arenberg Cube, the 5 storey rubix cube shaped multifunction centre in the heart of McLaren Vale. Each of the five levels have been carefully designed to entice and excite the senses. From the wine inhalation room, the virtual fermenter, the 360degree video room, to the Alternate Realities Museum. A totally new concept – a new generation wine experience.
