About the Event
Every business
leader has a story about that one client who really set them on the path to
growth. For Tritium CEO, Jane Hunter, that client was US President Joe Biden.
Earlier this year, Biden welcomed Hunter into the White House to announce that his government had placed an order for 10,000 Tritium EV fast chargers – the first step in a new multibillion dollar plan to electrify America’s roads.
And with that, this little-known Brisbane business was catapulted into a whole new world of growth and risk. In a few short months, Hunter had listed her company on the NASDAQ exchange and cut the ribbon on a new manufacturing facility in Tenessee, creating 500 American jobs and the capacity to produce 30,000 EV charging units every year. Tritium's four-year revenue was reforecast to US$12B.
Now giant corporate players are gearing up to establish their own global EV networks. BP and others have invested in thousands of Tritium rapid chargers to be installed soon across Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
In her first major industry engagement since visiting the White House, we talk with Hunter about her company’s evolution from local innovator to global leader, how rapid prototyping at Boeing prepared her for a rapid U.S. expansion, and how a CEO from Down Under helped shape policy in the Oval Office.
Please join us for an insightful and inspiring conversation about the potential of the US-Australia trade alliance to create a better world for future generations.
