Neil MacGregor, Managing Director, Bristol-Myers Squibb
Neil began his career with Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2012 as Head of Finance of Australia and New Zealand. Most recently, since 2015, he served as the Head of Finance for Japan, Korea and Taiwan, driving change across complex business contexts and brings a deep understanding of the Asia-Pacific business environment. Neil’s appointment demonstrates Bristol-Myers Squibb’s commitment to modern career development. In appointing the role of General Manager, Australia and New Zealand, an extensive search was conducted across multiple geographies, and included both internal and external candidates. Neil’s appointment is a testament to the strong succession planning and leadership pipelining of Bristol Myers Squibb. He is a dynamic and energetic leader with a commercially approach to business. Previously, Neil spent nine years at AstraZeneca in a variety of Finance roles within Commercial, Corporate and Manufacturing functions in UK, Japan, South Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr Rob Grenfell, Director Health & Biosecurity, CSIRO
Dr Rob Grenfell, a Public Health Physician, is the Director of CSIRO’s Health and Biosecurity Business Unit. Leading a broad portfolio covering Nutrition, eHealth, Medtech and Diagnostics and Biosecurity from weeds to Ebola. He was a member of the Safety and Quality Outcomes Committee of the Hospital Innovation Reform Council, a member of the Victorian Quality Council, Chair of General Practice Victoria, and Member of the Health Advisory Committee of the National Health and Medical Research Council.

Bernard O'Shea, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright
Bernard O’Shea is Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright. He is corporate and commercial lawyer focussed on the life sciences and health sectors, with a particular interest in digital health.
Ranked Band 1 in Chambers legal directory for Life Sciences, his expertise in intellectual property, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, and information technology have seen him develop a niche practice in these highly specialised areas of the law.
Bernard’s experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries covers the whole product development cycle from research, clinical trials, product development and commercialisation, including licensing and fundraisings, product registration, marketing and promotional arrangements, product liability and recall arrangements. He has an intimate knowledge of applicable government policy and relevant legislation and has worked on a number of key industry issues such as pricing and reimbursement.
His clients in the sector include healthcare companies, universities and research institutions, global pharmaceutical companies, and government.
