Executive Presence is not just presentation skills. It is much more than that. It is how you ‘show up’ in high stakes situations as your very best self be it one-on-one or one-on-many. It is the ability to connect authentically, communicate effectively, inspire action and build relationships. Presence will give you the power of true influence - to affect the actions, behaviours, and opinions of others in a real and authentic way.
Surprisingly for some, presence is set of skills that you can learn and in this session you will learn tactics that you can use straightaway. You'll learn the essence of presence through the lens of our PRES model and explore how and when to use it:
Present: The ability to be completely in the moment, undistracted by anything past or future, sharp as a razor, and flexible enough to handle the unexpected.
Reaching Out: The ability to build relationships with others through empathy, listening and authentic connection.
Expressive: The ability to express feelings and emotions appropriately by using all available means – words/voice/face/body – to deliver one congruent message.
Self-Knowing: The ability to accept yourself, to be authentic, and to reflect your values in your decisions and actions to inspire those you engage with.

André Alphonso is an entrepreneur, owner and leader of multiple businesses, published author, executive coach and keynote speaker who uses storytelling as a way of communicating his message.
Australia is his base and he works in the US, Europe, and Asia. He is the Managing Director of The Ariel Group in Australia, an organisation that combines best practices from actor training, adult learning, and common sense. Their unique methodology develops presence and influence: the ability to connect authentically, communicate effectively, inspire action and build the relationships that help them achieve results.
