Greg Ellis is Managing Director & CEO of REA Group, responsible for the Group’s multinational operations across Australia, Italy, Luxembourg and Hong Kong and its more than 600 employees.

REA owns and operates the leading real estate and commercial property advertising sites in Australia, realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au, as well as international sites such as the market-leading Italian property site, casa.it.
Greg is a seasoned online executive having held senior management roles in internet-based companies in Australia and internationally. He joined REA in September 2008 from Microsoft where he was Marketing Director Asia Online Services. Prior to that, Greg was Managing Director Online, for Truvo BV, a leading local search and advertising business operating in six countries: The Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Portugal, South Africa and Romania.
Greg established Truvo BV’s online directory business in all six markets and led the business to achieve profitable revenue growth within the first 18 months and annual revenue growth of more than 30 per cent a year. In Australia, Greg’s roles have included Managing Director of Sensis Interactive and Group Manager Marketing for Telstra Corporation.

In May 2010, Greg was appointed to the Board of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Australia as REA Group’s representative.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology. Away from REA, he is often found in friendly competition on the tennis court or golf course.
