The Hon Christopher Pyne, MP, Minister for Defence Industry
Christopher Pyne was elected to the House of Representatives for the seat of Sturt in 1993. Christopher is the Minister for Defence Industry, and Leader of the House of Representatives.

In his time in Parliament he has been Shadow Minister for Education, Manager of Opposition Business in the House of Representatives, Shadow Minister for Justice, Minister for Ageing, Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Parliamentary Secretary for Family and Community Services. Christopher has also served as Minister for Education and Training and Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science.


Darren Edwards, Vice President and Managing Director, Boeing Australia
Darren Edwards was appointed Vice President and Managing Director for Boeing Defence Australia in February 2017. Edwards manages all Boeing Defence Australia businesses and functions at the organisation’s Australian and international sites. His duties include establishing and executing new and existing programs, achieving business objectives, and implementing corporate strategies that position Boeing’s defence activities in Australia for continued success.

Prior to this role, Edwards was the General Manager Australia & New Zealand for Salentis Pty Ltd (Australia), where he provided expert assistance in development of responses to tenders and bids globally.


Vince Di Pietro, Vice President and Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin
Vince has been the Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin Australia since December 2016, after joining Lockheed Martin in August 2016. Vince is leading LMA to achieve its vision to be Australia’s partner of choice for defence, aerospace, sustainment and technology solutions.

Vince served in the Royal Australian Navy for 40 years and has flown 5,000 hours in helicopters and aeroplanes. His naval career included leadership roles in aviation; squadron, shore and joint commands; professional military education; diplomacy; safety and risk management; and system safety. He holds a Master of Arts (Strategic Studies) from Deakin University.


Greg Hume, Executive Director & Global CEO, Nova Group
Greg Hume is an Executive Director and the Global Chief Executive Officer for the Nova Group. He was appointed to his current position in July 2016. Greg established Nova’s initial operations in Queensland when he joined the company in 2003 following a career as a qualified Flight Test Engineer with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), where he served across a range of military aircraft acquisition and flight test projects.

Greg has over 25 years’ experience in aerospace test and evaluation, airworthiness certification, project management and systems engineering. Greg holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, and is a graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School, Harvard Business School, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a Fellow and Engineering Executive of the Institute of Engineers Australia and a Member of the Society of Flight Test Engineers.
