This is an after-hours networking function for anyone interested, especially SMEs and startups, to grasp the ins and outs of doing business in the U.S. Several of our colleagues from the U.S. Consulate Sydney, Efic, US Global Tax, Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), Export Council of Australia, and Montgomery Fazzone will present case studies, explain their services and advise how they can help your business.

Linda Daetwyler will discuss the different types of U.S. business, employment, and investment visas available, with a special emphasis on the uniquely Australian, E3 work visa for Australians in specialty occupations. The United States has long benefited from Australia’s talent pool to fill positions in the U.S. market. As the exchange of employees, skills, and knowledge between the U.S. and Australia becomes ever more important and beneficial for both nations, the E3 work visa is increasingly used by Australians to facilitate this exchange.
