A million people are projected to move into Western Sydney in the next 20 years. This massive growth needs to be supported by greater infrastructure, amenities, employment opportunities and livability in the region. The Australian and NSW governments are funding a 10 year, $3.6 billion road investment program, Western Sydney Airport at Badgerys Creek, a new Western Sydney Rail network, and a proposed freight hub network in Chullora.

How do we plan for smart growth, ensuring Greater Sydney is sustainable and successful? To properly sustain our future population growth in the region, we need to look at Sydney’s long-term future and focus on encouraging business investment, increasing housing supply and infrastructure and transforming Greater Sydney into a thriving economic hub.

Hear from our expert panel as they discuss the changes that need to occur in Greater Western Sydney across the infrastructure and economic landscape, how these changes can best be achieved, and the plans that are being developed currently to transform our global city.
